Watch Singapore F1 race 2009 for FREE

smalltomato.com went to Singapore F1 race yesterday and found a way to watch F1 race for free which we would like to share with you! Just right behind marina square, there is a staircase leading to a hotel (cant rmb), facing Singapore flyer where we stood and took this video. The above youtube video show the footage (better appreciate it cause i stood there with my both hands held up, holding my phone cam for 5min to catch the best view for you guys! My both arms was freaking numb after that! :( ) .

we (12 of us) visited the outlet at plaza singapura.

the manager offered us :
main course/pasta + soup of the day + drink + one scoop of icecream = $13 nett for one person (promotion on top of their 30% off lunch promotion)
i.e. we are paying only $3.20 more for an additional soup and one scoop icecream which in my opinion, is more worthwhile as compared to having "free flow drinks" cos' i dont and cant really take that much of softdrinks.
It's got us pretty satisfied too. :)

However, i must say that the manager hasn't been very truthful.
He told us that 30% lunch promo is only from 11am to 2.30pm but he's now extending the offer to us even though we entered swensen's at about 2.45pm.
When i checked the website again just now, it's stated to be from 11am to 5pm for the 30%  lunch promo!
sales tactics?
Fortunately, he's got the relatively good service to make up for it..

Pepperlunch!

 

I personally feel that pepperlunch at their original pricing plus that fact that I don't take beef, is pretty bohua (not worth the money).
Now that student meals are available, I don't mind going back there again! (now that it seems more wuhua.. hiak)
Hopefully they are not cutting down on the quantity to match the student price..
